Cooly Pet Spa is a boutique luxury dog grooming salon, conveniently located on Griffith Street in Coolangatta, Queensland.
We offer a wide range of services and spa treatments for small dogs under 15kg and 40cm ; providing one-on-one grooming, in a calm and cage free environment.
We understand that your pet is part of the family and our aim is to provide the ultimate pampering experience.
Our qualified and experienced groomers will listen carefully to your grooming requests, whilst keeping your dogs health and wellbeing a priority.

While we can take bookings over the phone and email, the quickest way to secure a time and day that suits you is by booking online.
You will receive a reminder message the day before your booking, along with a confirmation email that has a link that will allow you to easily change or cancel your appointment if something comes up.
Before booking with Cooly Pet Spa, you’ll need to review and agree to the cancellation policy.
The grooming process typically takes 2-3 hours, depending on your dog’s coat condition and temperament.
We will provide an estimated time frame for when your dog will be ready and will send you a text message as soon as they are ready to be picked up
The grooming schedule for your dog depends on their coat type, the length of their haircut, and how well you maintain their coat at home.
For short clips, grooming every 6-8 weeks is usually sufficient. If you prefer a longer clip, more frequent maintenance is needed, so we recommend grooming every 4-6 weeks.
Alternating a ‘Hygiene Tidy’ or ‘Bath & Blow Dry’ helps to achieve the fluffy longer length “Teddy Bear” style.
Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate medium to large dogs in our small salon.
If you book an appointment for a dog over 15kg and bring them in, we will have to refuse service and require full payment for the appointment.
After bringing your puppy home, it’s important to start desensitizing them to grooming. This can be achieved by gently brushing and touching their face and feet to help get used to handling.
We can schedule their first professional groom any time after they’ve had their third and final vaccine, typically around 16 weeks old.
For a gentle introduction, we recommend booking a ‘Puppy Tidy’ appointment for their first grooming experience.
We do not use cages in the salon, but if you’re concerned about your dog interacting with others, please let us know.
